In my last post I mentioned two girls that are heading out of Thailand and into the arms of waiting lovers/customers in farangland. One of the girls, mfggd, is someone I have written about a lot recently, but the other one is a girl who was a member of the “Werewolf harem” last year, and her re-appearance on the scene this weekend was a bit unexpected.
She is staying with me here in Bangkok at the moment. Quite literally, in fact. Her leg is hooked over mine at the moment. She’s sleeping and I’m typing on my laptop in the bed.
We got together around 9 p.m. last night after I finished work. I expected to go out for a couple of hours then bring her home for several hours of sex.
That’s not how it worked out.
Our first stop was Central World. Every year in December they use the big open area in front of Central World to set up outdoor beer gardens. Each one is sponsored by a different beer company, so you’ve got Chang, Singha, Heineken and — this year — Federbrau. Each one holds a couple of hundred people and offers a stage where live music is on offer in the evenings, with DJs at other times, and activities like coyote dancing or beauty contests mixed in. It’s all very Thai.
For anyone who has ever been to the Beer Garden at , it’s very similar to that, but each branded beer garden at Central is on a smaller scale.
My Goodbye Girl wanted to go there, so that’s where we headed. We downed two pitchers of Chang (that was a first for me!) and some sushi (which was surprisingly good).
While we were enjoying the food and music (no one really enjoys Chang beer, do they?) GG said she wanted to go to Sky Club on Srinakarin Road. I wasn’t sure I heard her right the first time, but sure enough. She’d heard me say many times that I’d been there and she wanted to see what it was all about.
I was happy to take her, but somehow in the cab we decided to stop first at , which is on the same road.
The Club had it’s usual dueling bands concept working. Basically they have one band on the ground floor and a second on the mezannine, and they take turns playing music. It’s got a certain appeal when you see it.
But the club wasn’t very crowded. This didn’t deter GG at all, and soon we were enjoying the music along with a pitcher of Heineken. Somewhere in the middle of the second jug the band played a song I liked and I stood up. GG jumped out of her seat to join me and we were dancing. That describes the next hour or so, as we simply cut loose and had fun. She pulled out her sunglasses at one point, and somehow they ended up on my face, and I became the prime example of every embarrassing farang you’ve ever seen… swilling beer, sunnies on in the middle of a night club and dancing badly. I was having a great time.
At least I didn’t try to get up on stage.
GG forgot all about Sky Club. We had three pitchers and stayed until nearly 2 a.m.
Can we go home and fuck now?
No.
She wanted to to go another club that was open until sunrise. After she wakes up I’ll ask her the name and location. Basically it was in the same area (and this is where she used to live when she was Bangkok-based so she knows every nook and cranny) so we were in one of the local afterhours places for Thais.
They had a DJ. We were seated next to a small stage — a podium really. At one point GG looked like she wanted to dance, and I lifted her up onto the podium. I expected her to be embarrassed and holler for me to bring her down, but once a go go dancer always a go go dancer I guess. Up on the podium she started dancing.
And this was no Bangkok shuffle. She was really dancing! She kept it up for about 20 minutes, and it was entertaining.
Finally, she’d had enough and clambored down. Now she wanted to shoot some pool.
I have to say, I was getting a bit wobbly at this point. For the past two or three months I have had almost no beer at all as part of a diet program (Since August I have dropped from 125 kilos to 114 kilos — about 25 pounds!) and drinking more than half of 5 pitchers along with the ice cold bottle at the after hours place had hit me fairly hard. We played pool, but no one who enjoys the game could have enjoyed watching the two of us, both far too intoxicated to attempt a game of skill, shooting badly on the brightly lit green table.
At around 3 a.m. I had to tell the Goodbye Girl that I was exhausted. I’d woken up at 5:40 a.m. to go to work, done a full day, and now I was on the edge of collapse.
She understood and we hopped in the taxi to return to Sukhumvit.
The next thing I knew I woke up at 9 a.m.
I was naked and in bed next to GG. I am certain that she undressed me in the bed, because my watch is off my wrist. I sleep with it on, so I must have come in the door in the wee hours of the morning and just collapsed in bed with my clothes on. She clearly stripped me bare then crawled in beside me.
No sex. At least I don’t remember any. And it doesn’t smell like we had sex. And I’m not sticky.
Well, I’ll remedy that in about an hour.
We made a lot of plans for the weekend while we were out last night. It’ll be interesting to talk to her and find out what we’re doing. Somehow I get the feeling that, like last night, it’s gonna involve me spending money and not getting laid.
What’s wrong with this picture?

So you spent some money and didn’t get laid, so what, reads like you had a great time and that is the important part. You know the getting laid part is easy. Hope the rest of the week end is as good (and that you get laid!)

sounds like she used and abused you!
Suggest you roll her over and do the same to her…. then kick her ass out!

After writing the blog I got a shower and got laid twice. She’s in the shower now washing all the goo off.
She didn’t do anything wrong, I simply collapsed from exhaustion last night.

This thing about gogo girls *really* dancing is fascinating. I’ve only seen them do the catatonic pole shuffle (which I’m strangely fond of, in spite of its lazyily insulting cynicism). BBB – that useless sack of shit – once finagled himself into a Thai-only gogo-boy club, where the gogo girls go to letch at physiques other than those of out-of-shape middle-aged farangs, and he says the girls *really* danced there.
So, did you find your watch?

Pants: The watch was on the headboard of the bed. It turns out that she had actually cooked a meal when we came home last night, and that I had eaten. I have no memory of the event. She confirms that we didn’t have sex until post-blog this morning, but I managed to do her three times before 4:00 this afternoon.
We took the train and went to Platinum Shopping Center, arriving around 7:30 tonight to find it 90% closed. We will return tomorrow while it is actually open to do some shopping. So, I’m not bleeding much cash… today.
She has gone to her room to fetch her battery charger and to change clothes. She will be back in about 2 hours, then we will be heading out to Isaan Dtawandaeng in Klong Tan.
She laughingly told me earlier that I wouldn’t get any sex tonight. When I protested, she said that she figured I’d get drunk and pass out again. Hmmmph!
As to your claim that you have only seen the ’shuffle’: I seem to recall you commenting favorably on the acrobatic dancing happening at Rawhide on Saturday this week. Oh, that’s right… we never left Subway.
And how, exactly, did BBB get into a place that is designed for girls who don’t want to look at out-of-shape middle-aged farangs?

Who are you calling middle-aged?
// Friday, 19 December 2008 at 9:05 pm |
I didn’t call anybody middle-aged

(I knew you’d be in fast with a comment when I wrote that… I checked back specially expecting you)

was the Memory club that place after my first and only visit to Sky? The place with that cute bass player?
Bangkok Bad Boy // Saturday, 20 December 2008 at 1:54 am |
@WW: Nevertheless, I resemble that remark!
@Ron: That’s the place. And she was very cute indeed. Yum.

Ironic… Going to the Memory Club and then losing part of it

I consider that a cheap night out if the only thing lost is some memory?
